Shannon Briggs confronts Wladimir in restaurant, Klitschko and Shannon Briggs have ding-dong in Florida restaurant

By Allan Fox: Earlier today former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs (55-6-1, 48 KOs) interrupted IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KOs) while he was eating at a restaurant in Hollywood, Florida.
Briggs said “I told you champ, wherever you go I go. What you do I do, champ. Let’s fight, champ. What you do I do. What you eat I eat. This is my [expletive], yeah. I told you everything you do I do. Thanks, champ.”

Briggs sat down across from Wladimir and snatched his food and started eating from it. Wladimir then poured what appeared to be a glass of water over the head of Briggs. At that point Briggs knocked the glass out of Wladimir’s hand, causing it to shatter. Briggs also knocked all the food from the table lost his footing, causing him to slip to the floor.

Briggs said “You pour water on my head. You poor water on my head.”

Briggs was then grabbed by a burly man and pushed out of the restaurant. Briggs lost one of his shoes while being escorted out of the restaurant. According to Fightnews.com, Briggs suffered a cut hand and foot. He later had stitches for the cuts.




Wladimir appeared to suffer an injury to his right hand, as he was shaking it afterwards and inspecting it as if he might have been cut by the glass that Briggs knocked out of his hand. It’s unclear if Wladimir’s injury will cause his September 6th title defense against Kubrat Pulev to be delayed.

This is the second time in the past two weeks that Briggs has confronted Wladimir. He recently barged in on Wladimir while he was at a gym in South Florida and challenged him to a fight.

Briggs, 42, wants Wladimir to give him a shot at his title. But WLadimir has shown no interest in wanting to do that. Briggs is ranked #14 by the WBA, so if Wladimir were to fight him, it would be an optional title defense. It looks like Briggs doesn’t want to earn his way to the mandatory spot to fight Wladimir.

For Briggs to become Wladimir’s mandatory challenger, he’s going to need to keep winning and beat at least one good heavyweight in an title eliminator. It’s unclear if Briggs has enough left in the tank to beat a top 5 contender to become Wladimir’s mandatory challenger.

This kind of stuff is probably playing out well for Briggs in Germany where Wladimir fights. The German media have been following what Briggs has been doing closely. It’s likely that a fight between Wladimir and Briggs would be a huge spectacle over there.

While Kate Gosselin has been quoted as saying the film crew on Jon & Kate Plus 8 was “like family,” she certainlydidn’t treat them as such, authorRobert Hoffman claims in his tell-all expose on the reality TV queen.

“They’re like a part of us,” Gosselin said of the crew members during anappearance on The Talk in 2011.

But Hoffman paints a very different picture in Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World where he published a copy of the “House Rules” he claims Gosselin handed out to crew members while filming Jon & Kate Plus 8.


- This home address is NEVER to be discussed or written down. Directions to this house are not to be discussed either.

- Specific door use- side double doors on left side of house- enters into basement- no other doors in house to be used by crew members AT ALL please.

- Absolutely no smoking or drinking alcohol on our entire property (or on the road in front of our house).

- Turn lights off in apt and house every time you leave a room- no exceptions

- Approved bathroom for crew use is in apartment. This is the ONLY bathroom for crew usage. (Do not use bathrooms in house please)

- No shoes in house or apt at any time. Shoe booties (that have NOT been worn outside!) or no shoes. Period.

- Please leave thermostat in apartment where it is. When leaving, turn down to 66 degrees. Thermostat will be set to a temp- and should not be changed please.

- Use trash cans for all trash. Please remove all trash from apartment and place in outside trash cans everyday and before leaving at the end of each shoot.

- Place all towels (if applicable) in specified area before leaving.

- Absolutely no eating/ drinking in our house…. All food/ drinks need to remain in apartment.

- Completely Close doors!!!! Every time and quickly!! No exceptions.

- Please knock before entering our house-DO NOT just walk in!!!

- Crew equipment storage- all equipment should be stored in crew purchased storage box in first bay of garage. Make all equipment fit and close and lock door before leaving shoot. NO equipment should remain in apartment as we will be using apt for guests between shoots.

- Do not leave trash or any equipment behind in our house. A walk through by a PA should be done at the end of each shoot to ensure that all equipment/ trash was collected.

- Do not help yourself to tools, our equipment etc. (including product placement items) Please ask before using things that are not yours.

- Please remember, this is not a ‘set’ (or a college dorm!)– its our home!!!! We are very proud of this house, please treat it with care!!!!!!!

According to Hoffman, Gosselin, 39, even sent an email to Discovery demanding that “anytime the film crew is present Jon and or I need to also be present to let them into the house and to oversee. Therefore, I am requesting that the schedule be revised to reflect this.”




“She treats us like sh*t. She treats the kids like sh*t,” a crew member who wished to remain anonymous told Hoffman.

“She’s rude to everyone. Nothing surprises me anymore with her.”

You Can’t Fire Me, I Quit! Tamra Barney Judge Deletes Her Facebook Page & Leaves The Country Amid Reports She’s Fired From ‘RHOC’

She’s outta here! Only hours after broke the world exclusive ×news that Bravo-bashing Tamra Barney Judge will not be returning for the next season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the reality TV star abruptly deleted her Facebook profile and left the country!

Though Judge posted nearly daily on her Facebook page in weeks past, all links from her Twitter to the page came up as dead links roughly one hour after Radar’s post. By then, Radar has learned, she was already on vacation in Mexico.

“One more day till paradise,” she tweeted on July 29. “I’m so over the stress of the show and what it’s doing to my spirit.”

Earlier this week, she called out Bravo on the Facebook account for editing scenes to make her look like she had flaked on co-star Lizzie Rovsek’s birthday party.

According to the mother of four, she alerted producers in advance that her daughter was sick and she would be unable to make the soiree, but seemingly desperate for drama, they forced Judge to wait until the last minute to let her co-star know.

“They asked me to wait until the cameras were up in the limo to let Lizzie know,” Judge alleged. “Then they had her call me and say ‘How rude that you didn’t call me.’”

That post was the last straw for Bravo, Radar has reported. According to insiders, the network has had it with her diva behavior, and she won’t be returning for the next season of RHOC.

However, she hasn’t deleted her Twitter profile — yet.

Paul George Recovering After Surgery

On a night that was intended to mark the return of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose from a devastating knee injury, Indiana Pacers All-Star Paul George gruesomely broke his right leg during Team USA's exhibition game at the Thomas & Mack Center on Friday in Las Vegas.

George underwent successful surgery to repair the open tibia-fibula fracture, USA Basketball said in a release early Saturday morning, and is expected to remain in the hospital for about three days. George will "probably" miss the entire 2014-15 NBA season, one source close to George told Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears.

Pacers president Larry Bird said in a statement Saturday morning that it was too early to speculate on a specific timetable for George's return, but the team is hopeful Paul will return to Indianapolis next week to continue his recovery.

"Our initial discussions with our doctors and the doctors in Las Vegas have us very optimistic," Bird said.

Early in the fourth quarter Friday, George attempted to block a shot by Rockets guard James Harden but landed awkwardly, his leg buckling against the basket stanchion. While the extent of damage was unclear immediately after the injury occurred, the severity of damage to George's leg was immediately apparent, with teammates and coaches unable to mask their concern.

As teammates and fans looked on, George was treated on the floor for 15 minutes before he was taken to the Las Vegas Hospital for Special Surgery. Moments later, the remaining minutes of the game were canceled, with coach Mike Krzyzewski addressing the crowd about the injury to the Pacers star.

News of the gruesome injury quickly spread across social media, with NBA stars immediately voicing words of support:

George helped the Pacers reach the Eastern Conference finals last season, and they were expected to remain a championship contender, despite losing Lance Stephenson in free agency. George's absence for what appears to be at least much of the season changes that.

"There is no question about the impact on our team, but our goal is to be as strong-willed and determined as Paul will be in coming back," Bird said in his statement Saturday morning. "Our franchise has had setbacks in its history but has demonstrated the abilities to recover. Paul will provide the example of that off the court and it is up to the rest of us to provide that example on the court."

Despite what is certain to be a long road to recovery, Paul George himself seems to be keeping a positive mindset, as he thanked fans and friends for their messages of support:

Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy Split, Call Off Engagement

One day before his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan announced he has broken off his five-year engagement to Nicole Murphy.

The pair started dating in 2007 and Strahan proposed two years later. It was a rocky start, with Strahan reportedly planting a tracking device in Murphy's car, but he proposed in 2009 and Murphy accepted.

Now, on the verge of the induction -- rather than answer questions about why she wasn't attending -- the couple decided to make the breakup public, blaming it, as many celebrity couples do, on logistics.

"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," a spokesperson for Strahan told People magazine on Friday.

And if you think the Hall of Fame timing is bad, it gets worse. In the recent issue of Ebony magazine, Strahan said life with Murphy is perfect.

“It’s great," he said. "As a divorced man, you just want somebody around your kids who’s respectful and will treat them like her own. When you understand that, there’s never any issue. We laugh and are at graduations and birthday parties, you know…all that stuff.”

Murphy was conspicuously absent when Strahan last week told the media who would be attending his induction. He ticked off the names of family and friends and former teammates, but not Murphy.

“The decision to add Michael Strahan to the cast after Josh Elliot left just didn’t seem like a very good one from the beginning,” an insider said. “Michael has made it clear that Live With Kelly & Michael is his first priority.”

“His schedule dictates that he can only be on GMA for essentially the first hour,” the source added.

“Of course there are issues with Michael bonding with the cast. Particularly, Lara Spencer views Michael as a threat. She always does her excessive flirting with all of the men on the set, but Michael doesn’t seem to be warming up to her at all. The cast is deeply divided after Josh and Sam Champion left. The only glue holding it together is Robin Roberts.”

Strahan, who is a co-host of "LIVE! With Kelly and Michael," has taken on a limited role on "Good Morning America," along with his job as NFL analyst for "Fox NFL Sunday."

Strahan has been married twice before, and Murphy is the former spouse of comedian Eddie Murphy. They divorced in 2006 after 13 years of marriage. She has five children with Murphy.

Strahan told Ebony there is no jealousy or animosity between the comedian and him.

“If I see Eddie, it’s, ‘What’s up?’ There is no animosity or jealousy,” Strahan said. “At the end of the day, a woman is a woman and a man is a man. Our relationship is all that matters.

Strahan was married to Wanda Hutchins until 1996, and has a daughter and son with her. He later married Jean Muggli, who gave him twin daughters. They went through a nasty divorce shortly after the birth.
